Ask the person who made the statement. That's the only way you'll find out for sure. Everyone can guess, but only the person who wrote it will know for sure. My guess is that there are signs of emphysema, but not big time one; just little ones. I'm guessing this is from a CT scan. If it's from an x-ray, see a pulmonologist because x-rays are NOT good diagnostic tools for COPD.

If it is a Digital Image then ''most probably'' it was not signed by the person interpreting the scan or the operator.

I am glad for a long time I didn't see a lung doctor. this week is bad again all the smoke from the CA fires from CA last week was AZ and I think upper CA or OR. I guess its been hard on all of us. the one I hate is when they stick a thin needle up the vein around wrist to message the air. I was told not long ago that the meter I got you put on your finger will only measure what you had the day before ok now I get confused when I got it the hospital told me to always test if I feel sort of breath. I want to tell you all that you all are helping me not being alone. I do not want to hurt anyone or as the message I got was my boo boo and no one cared. why are you having a ct scan ? you might have to have your regular doctor send you to a lung specialist. they take the test that shows what is going on. I guess I should have asked who told you emphysema but not marked ? I may be seeing this different. I know a person who was told he has COPD and going crazy without any of the test to make sure. I guess his doctor was taking a good guess ? I have had so many test the doctors have to prove to me its worth the the test or another one would do better.

Please ask a doctor this. on line there is no way to have the right answer. go to a good lung doctor they will run test like breathing and testing how much oxygen your body is getting. i know one thing above all do not let doctors take to many test go to a lung doctor and one you trust.
