I Am Moving From Colo To Washington Does Anyone Have Info As To How I Transfer My Medicaid, Oxygen Supply, Etc.?
Today I called approximately 13 different phone numbers for Washington and Colorado to try to get info on Medicaid so I wont have a lapse in coverage for my oxygen and prescription needs. No one seems to know.
I know. It's crazy isn't it? I worked for both agencies at one time. That is why I steered you there. You are in my prayers.
i just moved and have medicare and haven't had any problems seeing de's or my meds and oxygen supplies
Do u happen to have Medicare's insurance? If u do, I do believe that stays the same wherever you go. I know I get a book from them every year that gives you Dr's names and also like what medication is covered. Since I am thinking that might be another place that u can check. I know I get medicare and Medicaid so that's why I suggested if u have medicare to try that. Medicaid workers do like to work..lol...they just wanna collect a paycheck...that's just my opinion
I have been speaking with my provider that gives me my oxygen now and they are going to work with me when I move from Arizona to Tennessee, Have you asked your provider if they would work with you until you can get there and find someone
@A MyCOPDTeam Member is so right. I would contact the Department of Aging of where you are moving to see what they can do to help things go smoothly. Also contact the one in your area. Your provider might be in the state you are going to. You are in my prayers.

Does Anyone Travel With Oxygen? I Am Interested In Taking Road Trips That Would Be A Week Or More. Is This Possible When On Oxygen?
