My lung Dr. Told me if I have alot of mucus stay clear of milk.

Dairy is generally neutral with regard to COPD. If your mucous tends to e thick, drink lots of water and use something like Mucinex to thin it out.

Thanks so much to everyone who has helped on this, I have decided to use almond milk if useing a lot of milk but I still have cheese and butter in small quantities.
