I Work 80 Hours A Month And Am Around People Coughing And Not Feeling Well All The Time....anything I Can Do To Prevent Getting Sick?
I wash my hands a lot, I use antiseptic on my hands, I use a towel when leaving the bathroom, I wipe down my phone & computer before starting work. Is there anything to take...I have heard Zinc, Airborne....any suggestions? I have never been hospitalized, have both pneumonia shots and my flu shot. Thanks for any suggestions....
I use a spray called Locabiotal before going into crowded places etc...used as an nasal and mouth spray...like an inhaler took at...
Fresh air, excercise, training your body to breath fully and correctly.
I agree that talking with your doc about what else you could do is an excellent idea. My other suggestion is that if you don't already have a daily exercise routine that you begin one. I've found that the better shape I'm in the less I'm likely to catch something. The other thing is to get to your doc ASAP, if you do catch something. You want to nip it in the bud rather than let it get a good hold on you!
If your medical practitioner agrees i use Echinacea in the winter months..its a herbal remedy and was recommended to me by a dear friend many years ago who knew and lived by Apache remediies to boost the immune system ..it works wonders for me ..would be good if this helps you .
I would say you are doing everything right, I got the pnuemonia, flu and whooping cough shot and this year I also got the prevnar13 shot. I have stayed well, try to stay away from those that are ill. There is only so much one can do, be as healthy as we can.
