Elaine, if the chemicals don't bother you and you enjoy it, soak away! Some, like Lorna, can no longer manage the humidity or the chemical smells. Neither humidity nor chlorine in that setting will harm you; the only harm is if either triggers an increase in symptoms for you. If neither bothesr you, then enjoy!

We have had rain here the past two days, and my bath room window was open, when I went in, and it was like walking into a fog bank, my old lungs tightened up, and breathing became real difficult.... Left me breathing difficult all day.....

I also find when it gets above 90 I have a hard time and when it is cold it takes my breath away at first also. With the heat it stays so I stay in or under AC.

Well hon, depending on how bad a problem you have encountered. Each time you go into the hospital, with this stuff, it takes more time to recoup... Lots of time I may sleep three days, and only get up long enough to go to the rest room, might have a cup of coffee. I've found out, that when you do come home, and they give you the increase in your presidone, take it like they say... I failed to do it this past stay, came home and kinda forgot to take that stuff, boy, I got to feeling rough, hurting in places I never hurt before, had some feeling I'd never felt, just rundown, mind foggy, and my friend asked me if I was taking that stuff,,, well I wet back and started taking it, and it's amazing the difference.. We have yo take each day as it comes, there are days you don't want to g out of bed, and then there are days you feel pretty good.. Just don't let to rough days get you down.. You will be fine... I know living by ones self is rough, but having some one gets rough,,, but it's better to smile, and let the day pass, cause tomorrow will be better...God bless you
