Night Sweats~why?
What is the reason we have night sweats. My doctors have been asking me for at least a year if I was having night sweats and I'd say no. But the other night I woke up and my sheets felt damp (they weren't tho) and I was extremely hot. So I have been having them but I thought this only happened when I forgot to turn the ceiling fan on. I read that if you take spireava and have gerd you can get night sweats, any way i take the spireava right before bed now and don't sweat now
The only thing I can think of other than menopause is your meds. Prednisone gives you night sweats big time, so do several other meds.
I would go through your meds and look at the side effects. Good Luck!!!
Prednisone seems to make me crave sweets. More than usual. I also have been getting hot flashes and am well past menopause.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member hmmmm I don't have GERD but I do take spiriva every morning,that is something
I might bring up to my primary Monday when I go to see her.
Have her look over all my meds and see which ones are clashing.
I take Advair too 500, I take so many meds and quite a few of them cause night and day sweats so not sure which drug is really doing it.
