Here is another good article, with hope!
"Doctors say the valve can be easily removed if patients experience these symptoms.
The new lung valve is entering into its final phases of trial in the U.S. and it’s already being used in Europe."

go to Beyondcells.com and check it out. If you know anyone in Miami ask them to go to the clinic and check it out. I'm going to San Francisco in a couple weeks and can have it done there by ladies that will drive up from Los Angeles. I would really like to find out if it works.

The coils have been in clinical trials now for several years. They are not available for anyone other than those who qualify to be in the clinical trial.

Hi Betty - The " Valve " procedure is not invasive ~ it is done by bronchoscopy , a fine tube is used to insert the one way valves to damaged lung area , no cutting , no stitches , and minimal hospital stay !

Hi Peter , thanks so much for the info ~ I live in Australia & am hoping to have BLVR in October , I have been checked out & am suitable for this procedure , the Coil Procedure has not been approved here as yet but my specialist reckons it is only a matter of time . The feedback on BLVR with the valves seems pretty good & I am very optimistic of a good outcome !
