@A MyCOPDTeam Member, I've been researching the book, "Finding Joy with an Invisible Chronic Illness", and from what I can see, it's a must-read for me. It seems to have a very positive outlook and has a 5 star rating almost across the board. I didn't understand whether or not you've read it, but if you did, what do you think personally of it? Going to order it probably through Thriftbooks. Probably get a good buy that way. Thanks for the tip.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member if he doesn't want to do the rehab at least try to keep him moving as much as possible. We have to keep our lungs moving so we can breathe. There are chair exercises he could do on YouTube. That would be my suggestion. Just keep in mind that he DOES have to move around regardless of his lung capacity. Chris

@A MyCOPDTeam Member, are you having a bout of the blues? I hope you're not; if it's about the smoking, it's not good for you to come down hard on yourself. Just say 'I'll try again', then maybe set a date very soon? Most people quit a jillion times before it takes.
I'm supposed to get the book sometime today, and I don't know when I've been so excited about a good read.
What was the anesth******* talking about "you're still able to speak?" Someone told me a long time ago not to look down the road. I guess it's okay to look, but maybe I was staring. I don't know, but I thought that was good advice.
Hugs and love to you too.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member I haven't read it yet, and it shows...as I'm quite down and don't know anymore which way is up; with emphysema not much is possible. So YES, it's mandatory to read quickly "Finding Joy with an Invisible Chronic Illness". ps. The anesthesist I saw yesterday told me "well you're still able to speak" Gosh, he's stupid, I know it's not my last day yet, it's the way down the road which is really tough. Hugs&Love to you Jael 🥰😘
