@A MyCOPDTeam Member So do I, but when I do short walk I desaturate (until SpO2: 89, 90, 91..), it luckily comes back to 93 rapidly after exercice.
SpO2 at 93% is at rest.
With the emphysema slowly but surely worsening with years, we have more difficulties to walk long distances as within our lungs there are less and less quality exchange 02/CO2 (emphysema has ruin a lot of our alveoli where it was supposed to exchange... unfortunately).
Nevertheless, Pulmonary Rehabilitation sessions do help to maintain our muscles strength, at least sufficiently to do our "daily tasks".
Regards,
Dominique

93% would be your baseline it sounds like. Mine is 95% and I also desat when walking long periods of time. I find myself slowing down, and having to take breaks. Each time I see my Pulmonary dr. We do a 6MWT to see where my levels are and if there are any major changes. Pulmonary rehab would help I think.
