Anyone Using The Compression Vests? Your Thoughts?
I hope your friend filed an appeal and got her pulmonologist to back her up, @A MyCOPDTeam Member. It’s criminal what insurance companies try to get away with for neglecting patient care in the name of higher profits.

Hi, @A MyCOPDTeam Member, and happy birthday month to you !
While I tried a compression vest in one of my Better Breather’s Club sessions before the pandemic, I don’t believe I have enough mucus to make it worthwhile for me.
Was your vest recommended by your pulmonologist or respiratory therapist? Some of these gizmos can be tricky to operate, so maybe you just need a hands-on tutorial session with your respiratory therapist or pulmonologist?
I hope you find it to be effective in the long run.

Appreciate the "expectorants" post!
Sorry, @A MyCOPDTeam Member, but the standard expectorants did not agree with me at all.
I mostly use children’s Dimetapp in Grape, if I’m not going anywhere and have plenty of time to wake up from the sleep hangover it gives me, or my standby, which is 24-hour sudafed to help dry me up.
I am a danged princess when it comes to medications and supplements, so I also use mullein supplements as well as marshmallow root to help with lung heath and keeping my chest clear.
Sadly, not everything works the same for everybody. Good luck with the vest.

Thanks for your reply Kellie. Did the vest work in bringing up phlegm each time after a 30 minute session?
My vest is also Phillips.
