Anyway To Combat The Constant Bubblewrap Sound When I Breathe?

Ive grown accustomed to the neverending nasal canula sound but hearing every breathe is becoming unnerving

If you get moisture in your cannula it will make noise. I never notice it until I lay on my side and then it drives me crazy.

Cheryl, if it’s the sound of your breathing, I would try to get rid of it, too. If you haven’t tried mucinex and lots of water, that’s one suggestion, the other suggestion is talk with your doc about a product called NAC. I cent remember exactly what that stands for because I don’t use it, but it can make a big difference to some people.

I use inhalers when im like that.but im early stages so 100% not sure if your worried .ring your doctors and explain whats happening.ive had a chest infection fo 3 months on and off crackling all the time espicially at night .goodluck 😊x

I take the NAC, it is supposed to help reduce carbon dioxide levels. It does seem to help me.

It’s an amino acid (NAC) N-acetyl cysteine.
