I have been getting a lot of dizzieness and a strange feeling of detachment like I am doing things but do not feel it is me doing it. I know this probable has nothing to do with my illness it is just so scary.

Hi , had asthma before I had copd ,symptoms are very similar in the mild stages. Cocortico steroids inhalers can have that dizzy effect took several changes to get medication right to get right level that doesn't have too many side effects..asthma nurse came up with a solution that when taking two puffs space them hour apart. Still get those dizzy feeling at times if have to take reliever inhaler . Just adjusted one of inhalers, pulmicort, reduced to one puff in the evening dose as two puffs together were actually triggering an attack and causing lot of coughing.
All these pills and inhalers while controlling illness can cause so many strange and different feelings . sometimes dizzy, sometimes feel like about to faint or not really with it.
Hope you feel better

I have had the same feeling too as you described, a detachment, not feeling it is me doing whatever I am doing, dizziness is something I feel very often and sometimes for days so on those days I try to take it a bit easier, don't know the answers but hope this helps some, breath easy
