Just to update everyone, I've been told I do not have copd my pfts are as follows as of Feb 29 2016, fev1 2.61 or 101% fev1/fvc ratio was 80 tlc 121% rv was 146% and dlco was 82% I'm certain these levels have changed as I've not yet been able to quit smoking, an eckocardiogram from 2013 noted borderline dilated la and mildly elevated ra pressure, recent chest xray revealed that my ap window appears full and some hyperinflated lungs, I also have granulomas within my right lung base and small… read more
Sorry @A MyCOPDTeam Member but @A MyCOPDTeam Member and @A MyCOPDTeam Member have a good point.......take charge of your life....there has to beeeee someone somewhere that will help you, you surly have churches there where you live or neighbors that would help.......there is always a way, you just have to find it.......Pray about too, it always helps in so many ways.....and like they also said, you have got to quit smoking......God will take the desire away, He did for me.....
Yes quitting smoking would be a big help to your lungs. Maybe if you quit smoking the Doctors might take you more seriously. It certainly wouldn't hurt if you quit!
