Copd An Heat Why Does Heat Affect The Body So Bad In Every Way
why am i experienceing so many problems in my body with extream heat
I struggle being short of breath in the summer much more than in the winter. It is not necessarily the heat but is the humidity that zaps my energy and oxygen levels. I am just more limited in what I can do in the summer time. I do try to do yoga 2/3 times a week and breathing exercises every day. In the winter I go to yoga classes. In the summer I do not go because the rooms are too hot. I also bowl in a league in the winter. I find that the more exercise that I get the better I feel.

thank you so much will do x
Sometimes it is a lack of oxygen. Do some pursed lip deep breathing. Usually helps.
Your weight is definitely adding to your problems. If you could lose some of the weight, your problems will get better. They won't go away, but they will get better. I know: in 2003 I finally started on an aggressive diet and exercise program and over about 18 months, I lost over 100 pounds. I have severe COPD, and the weight loss got me off O2 completely for about nine years, I got rid of my C-pap machine, reduced my meds a lot and got a whole new wardrobe. An exercise program would help you lose the weight and get in better shape. Both those things are making the heat that much harder to bear.
